Eligibility

You may use the Service only if:

• You are at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country
• You have permission from a parent or legal guardian if required by law
• You are legally able to enter into this agreement

We may refuse access to the Service or terminate accounts at our discretion.

Description of the Service

Al-Jamal is a language-learning application that provides educational content, including but not limited to:

• Vocabulary and lesson databases
• Audio recordings and pronunciations
• Learning paths, games, quizzes, and exercises
• Written content, translations, explanations, examples, and recommendations
• User accounts, progress tracking, achievements, and subscriptions

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use only.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and login details
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

You may not:

• Share your account with others
• Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions, free trials, rankings, or features
• Impersonate another person
• Use false or misleading information

Intellectual Property

All rights in and to the Service are owned by Kalimo. This includes, without limitation:

• The Al-Jamal and Kalimo names
• Logos, symbols, designs, illustrations, animations, characters, sounds, and visual identity
• The app interface, lesson structure, games, learning paths, categories, and concepts
• All text, translations, examples, exercises, audio files, recordings, and educational content
• The source code, software, databases, algorithms, and technical systems

All intellectual property rights are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other applicable laws.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, upload, download, display, sell, license, or exploit any part of the Service
• Use our logo, name, characters, animations, recordings, screenshots, or content in another app, website, course, social media page, advertisement, or product
• Copy the structure, design, flow, lessons, categories, or game mechanics of the Service in a way that imitates or competes with it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, extract, or attempt to access the source code, database, internal content, or technical operation of the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, AI systems, crawlers, or other methods to copy, analyze, collect, or reproduce the content of the Service
• Remove copyright notices, trademarks, or branding from any material

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to hack, bypass, disable, or manipulate any security or technical feature
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful material
• Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the Service to create competing products or datasets
• Misuse trial periods, discounts, or subscription systems
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage Kalimo, its users, or its reputation

Violations and Enforcement

If you violate these Terms, we may, without notice:

• Suspend or terminate your account
• Remove your access to the Service
• Cancel subscriptions or promotions
• Delete content or data associated with your account
• Restrict future access
• Take legal action if necessary

You may also be liable for damages, losses, legal fees, and other costs resulting from your violation.

Subscriptions and Payments (App Store)

Certain features are offered as paid subscriptions through the Apple App Store.

• Payment: Charged to your Apple ID. Kalimo does not store credit card details.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Price: The price shown in the App is for the selected billing period (monthly or annual).
• Cancellation: Manage via Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions. Access continues until the paid period ends.
• Restore: Use “Restore Purchases” in the App or the same Apple ID used for purchase.
• Refunds: Per Apple’s policies; Kalimo does not process App Store refunds directly.

No Guarantee of Results

The Service is intended as an educational aid only. We do not guarantee that:

• You will achieve any specific learning result
• You will successfully learn Arabic
• You will pass an exam, course, interview, military test, or any other assessment
• Any recommendation, translation, explanation, lesson, or exercise will be suitable for your personal needs

Your success depends on many factors outside our control, including your effort, understanding, and use of the material.

Educational Content Disclaimer

The content in the Service is provided for general educational and language-learning purposes only.

Although we make efforts to provide accurate and useful information, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, up to date, error-free, culturally appropriate, or suitable in every situation.

Translations, explanations, pronunciations, meanings, examples, grammar notes, and recommendations may sometimes contain mistakes, differences of opinion, regional variations, dialect differences, or alternative interpretations.

Kalimo is not responsible for:

• Any disagreement with the meaning, translation, pronunciation, or explanation of content
• Any inconvenience, misunderstanding, embarrassment, mistake, offense, or consequence resulting from the use of the content
• Any educational, academic, professional, or personal outcome based on reliance on the Service
• Any claim that a user misunderstood the material, received incorrect information, or did not achieve the desired result

You are solely responsible for how you use and rely on the information in the Service.

Availability of the Service

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Maintenance
• Technical failures
• Internet or platform issues
• Third-party provider failures
• Updates, modifications, or discontinuation of features

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE".

Kalimo disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy
• Reliability
• Availability

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kalimo and its founders, owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, profits, reputation, opportunities, or business
• Academic, educational, financial, emotional, or personal losses
• Damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service

If we are found liable despite these Terms, our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify you through the App or by updating the date at the top of these Terms.

Your continued use of the Service means that you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Israel.

Any dispute relating to the Service or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Israel.
